Lufthansa Dreamliner Sinks Onto Belly at Frankfurt Airport

A Lufthansa Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner was involved in a dramatic incident at Frankfurt Airport on Thursday after the aircraft appeared to sink onto its belly while parked near a gate at Terminal 1.

At the time of the incident, a baggage conveyor vehicle was positioned next to the aircraft.

As the nose of the plane dropped, the open aircraft door appeared to press down onto the vehicle, trapping it underneath. Two airport workers can reportedly be seen near the aircraft in the video footage.

Officials have not yet commented on whether the workers were affected.
