MOSCOW, May 16. /TASS/. Concreting and reinforcing the second unit of the Bushehr nuclear power plant has resumed, Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev told reporters.
"Work has resumed on concreting and reinforcing the buildings of the second power unit of the Bushehr NPP now under construction. Our specialists who remained at the site have already engaged in active cooperation with contractors as part of the fulfillment of contractual obligations. The small number of our employees remaining in Bushehr is offset by the fact that most of them are highly qualified managers. In addition, technical and consulting support for construction operations has been deployed remotely," he said.
According to him, the reactor and steam generators for the second power unit is being manufactured as planned.
