住房城乡建设部最新数据显示，297个地级及以上城市居民小区垃圾分类基本实现全覆盖。

截至2025年底，全国焚烧设施达1137座，日处理能力提升至118万吨，北京、浙江、山东等15个省市实现了原生生活垃圾“零填埋”，主要污染物排放控制居世界领先水平。

为做好垃圾分类工作，地级及以上城市出台垃圾分类有关地方性法规或规章199部，制定出台技术标准规范100余部，垃圾分类已成为各地基础性工作。

住房城乡建设部表示，按照计划，今年将继续优化完善政策体系，因地制宜强化可回收物管理，提升垃圾资源化回收利用率。

力争到2030年底，全国城市生活垃圾资源化利用率达到76%以上。
