Coleen Lamarre Granted Bail in Witness Tampering Case

The mother of former police officer Beau Lamarre-Condon has been granted bail after being accused of attempting to influence a key witness in his upcoming double murder trial.

Coleen Lamarre has been in custody since April, when she was arrested in Balmain in Sydney's inner west.

She has been charged with one count of doing an act intending to pervert the course of justice and is yet to enter a plea.

Police have previously said she allegedly attempted to "influence a key witness to change their evidence in a high-profile double murder trial".

The 63-year-old appeared on a video link from Dillwynia Correctional Centre for a bail application in the NSW Supreme Court on Tuesday.

Acting Justice Robert Hulme granted bail with conditions.

Mr Lamarre-Condon is due to face a trial in September over the February 2024 deaths of Sydney couple Jesse Baird and Luke Davies.

He has been denied two counts of murder and one count of aggravated break and enter, and is accused of shooting the pair using his service firearm at Mr Baird's home in Paddington.
