Domino's is offering over 60,000 free medium pizzas to US soccer fans if any player receives a red card during the tournament. To enter, fans must register by June 10 and be Domino's Rewards members. Additionally, 75,000 free pizzas are being given to EA Sports FC 26 players through in-game codes released weekly.

Domino's, the popular pizza chain, announced that it will hand out $1 million worth of pizzas if any player from the US team receives a red card in the soccer tournament. Domino’s will randomly select more than 60,000 winners to receive a free medium two-topping pizza if any player on the US soccer team gets a red card.

Fans must register on the Domino’s Pizza website before June 10 at 11:59 p.m. ET to be eligible for a chance to win. Participants must also be enrolled in the Domino’s Rewards program. Those selected for a free “Emergency Pizza” will have until Aug. 2, 2026, to redeem it. In addition, the company will randomly surprise players of EA Sports FC 26 with 75,000 free Emergency Pizzas as part of the promotion.

Between now and June 5, Domino’s Pizza will release a unique promo code inside the game experience every Friday. These codes will be given to randomly selected players aged 18 and above and can be redeemed for a medium, two-topping pizza.

“Soccer gurus know the worst thing to happen in a game is for a player on the team you’re rooting for to receive a red card,” Kate Trumbull, Domino’s executive vice president, said in a statement, reports New York Post.

“If that happens to the American squad, Domino’s is here to help ease the pain by giving away Emergency Pizzas. It may not change the outcome of the match, but it can provide a delicious pick-me-up when it’s needed most.”

A red card in football is issued for serious misconduct or unsporting behaviour, such as violent conduct, spitting, deliberately stopping a clear goal-scoring chance by committing a handball or foul, or using abusive, offensive, or insulting language.

When a player receives a red card, they are immediately sent off and cannot continue in the match. In tournaments like the FIFA World Cup, the punishment also extends to the next game, meaning the player is suspended from starting the following match.

The main giveaway is open to U.S. residents who sign up through Domino’s soccer-themed Emergency Pizza page before the deadline.

If a USMNT player receives a red card during the World Cup, Domino’s will randomly select more than 60,000 winners for a free medium two-topping pizza. Winners must redeem the offer by August 2, 2026.

That leaves fans in an unusual position. Nobody supporting the United States men's national soccer team wants to see a player sent off, but Domino’s Pizza is betting that if disaster strikes, free pizza can soften the frustration.

The World Cup promotion is not the only way Domino’s Pizza is giving away pizzas this summer. The chain is also offering 75,000 free “Emergency Pizzas” to randomly selected players of EA Sports FC 26 in the United States.

On Fridays through June 5, eligible players aged 18 and above can receive unique promo codes inside the game experience, which can be redeemed for a free medium two-topping pizza.

“Maybe players loaded into EA SPORTS FC 26 on an empty stomach or perhaps their fridge is bare, whatever the reason, Domino’s is here to provide the emergency assist,” the company said.

Domino’s has also rolled out limited-edition soccer merchandise with Saturdays Football, including jerseys, caps and slides, as part of its broader World Cup push.

The campaign is a clear attempt to turn live sports drama into a digital marketing moment. Fans register, watch the matches and wait to see whether one controversial referee decision changes the night.
