Gujarat Halpati Housing Scheme: Rs 1.2 Lakh Aid for Talaviya and Nayak Families

Gujarat government’s “Halpati Housing Scheme” provides Rs 1.2 lakh in financial assistance to Talaviya and Nayak families belonging to the Halpati community, as financial assistance, to build their homes. The scheme covers rural areas of the southern districts of Gujarat: Surat, Tapi, Valsad, Navsari, Narmada, Bharuch, Chhotaudepur, and Vadodara. The financial aid is provided in phases, directly into the bank accounts of the Halpati individuals. There is no individual or family income limit to qualify for the scheme. The application process is completely offline and free of cost.

Application process and documents required:

During office hours, the interested applicant can either visit the Gandhinagar Head Office or Sub-Offices at Surat and Valsad and request a hard copy of the application form from the staff exclusively responsible for issuing and collecting filled-in applications.

In the application form, fill in all the required fields, and attach copies of all the mandatory documents (self-attest, if required).

Submit the duly filled and signed application form along with the documents to the sub-offices located at Surat and Valsad.

After submitting the application, request a receipt or acknowledgement from the sub-offices located at Surat and Valsad. Ensure that the receipt contains essential details such as the date and time of submission and a unique identification number (if applicable).

The required documents are: Age Proof, Bank Passbook/Cancelled Cheque, Birth Certificate, Caste Certificate, Passport-size Photos, and Ration Card.
