HIV-Positive Woman Arrested in Bhind Sex Racket

A sex racket allegedly luring unsuspecting men into a maze of blackmail, extortion and false rape threats has taken a darker turn in Madhya Pradesh's Bhind, where police found that one of two women arrested in the case has been undergoing treatment for HIV the past 3 years. The racket was busted nearly 3 weeks ago. Police arrested all 4 accused named in the FIR - 2 women, both around 35 years old, and 2 men aged 25 and 40. "All 4 accused were sent to judicial remand," Bhind Dehat police station in-charge Shivpratap Singh Rajawat said Tuesday. "During investigation, we learned that one of the women has been undergoing treatment for HIV for past 3 years." Police seized some of the videos from the HIV-positive woman. The investigators are now tracking potential victims and examining seized videos for more leads.
