Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio has built more than an iconic Hollywood career. Alongside blockbuster films, the actor has quietly assembled an impressive real estate portfolio that stretches from the bustling streets of New York City to the hills of Los Angeles. His reported collection spans from the United States to Belize, with properties ranging from a sprawling compound in Los Angeles, California, and apartments in New York City to a mid-century modern estate in Palm Springs and a private island in Belize.

Hollywood Hills compound, Los Angeles, California

DiCaprio’s most prominent property is his compound in the Bird Streets area of the Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, California. According to Robb Report, the property began taking shape in the 1990s, when he paid about $4 million for two neighbouring homes, one of which had previously been owned by Madonna. He later continued to expand the holding, buying a 3.44-acre parcel below his main residence in 2006 for $4.35 million, an adjacent property with a 3,100-square-foot house for $4.85 million in 2018, and another property for $10.5 million in 2022. The compound reportedly now spans about five acres across five parcels.

Blackadore Caye, Belize

One of the actor’s most ambitious real-estate projects is Blackadore Caye, a 104-acre private island off the coast of Belize. He purchased the island in 2005 with plans to develop an environmentally focused retreat. The project was intended to combine luxury accommodation with ecological restoration, including efforts to address problems such as erosion, deforestation and overfishing. Blackadore Caye is therefore different from DiCaprio’s residential properties in the United States, being a private island holding.

Riverhouse apartments, Battery Park City, New York

DiCaprio’s New York holdings are located at Riverhouse in Battery Park City, Manhattan, New York. He reportedly bought an apartment there for $3.67 million in 2008 and purchased a neighbouring unit in 2014 for another $8 million. The two apartments together provide nearly 5,000 square feet of interior space, along with approximately 1,000 square feet of outdoor space and Hudson River views.

Palm Springs estate, California

In 2014, the hollywood star bought a mid-century modern estate in Palm Springs, California, for approximately $5.2 million. Robb Report identifies the property as a 7,000-square-foot estate designed by architect Donald Wexler for singer and actress Dinah Shore. The property has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a guest house, a swimming pool, a tennis court and a detached gym, set on 1.3 acres with views towards the San Jacinto Mountains. The property has also been available as a holiday rental.

Los Feliz Spanish Colonial home, Los Angeles, California

DiCaprio bought a Spanish Colonial-style home in Los Feliz, Los Angeles, California, in 2021 for $7.1 million from actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his husband, Justin Mikita. According to Robb Report, the nearly 5,000-square-foot home was built in 1928 and has previously been associated with other celebrity owners. The property underwent a major design renovation before his purchase. This property should not be confused with another Los Feliz residence that DiCaprio sold to singer-songwriter Miguel for $4.9 million in 2022.Malibu beachfront property, California According to reports, the hollywood star bought a 3,300-square-foot beachfront property in Malibu, California, in July 2021 for $13.75 million. The four-bedroom, five-bathroom home has multiple decks and private access to El Sol Beach. It was listed for sale but reportedly withdrawn from the market in April 2026.

Beverly Hills residence, California

Robb Report also reported that DiCaprio bought a residence in Beverly Hills, California, in December 2021 for $9.9 million. The approximately 5,000-square-foot property was built in 1936 and has five bedrooms and six bathrooms. Its features include cathedral ceilings, a wrought-iron spiral staircase, a pool, a detached guesthouse and landscaped outdoor entertaining areas.
