Vijaykumar Vyshak to Rishabh Pant, FOUR! Nearly dragged on. Lucky runs for Rishabh Pant. This is an excellent delivery from Vyshak, pitching it on off and going away from the left-hander. Rishabh Pant rocks back and looks to punch at it with a cross-bat, but gets nicked on the inside edge. The ball zips past the off stump and rolls away to deep fine leg for four runs.

With the fall of the wicket, it is time for the STRATEGIC BREAK. The teams have traded blows in the opening exchanges. Josh Inglis made an early statement before Punjab hit back. Ayush Badoni then burst out of the blocks with a rapid start, but his entertaining innings has now been cut short, and the Kings will be relieved to see the back of him. Yuzvendra Chahal to Ayush Badoni, OUT! STUMPED! A wicket against the run of play for Punjab, but some excellent presence of mind from Prabhsimran Singh. Yuzvendra Chahal bowls this flatter, short and just outside off. Ayush Badoni rocks back to cut it away but misses it. The keeper, Prabhsimran, collects it behind the stumps, waits for a moment and then clips the bails off. He looks pretty confident about this one and the square leg umpire sends it upstairs. First, UltraEdge comes up and shows a flat line on it. However, the replay shows that, after playing the shot, Badoni lifts his back leg up in the air, and at that exact moment, Singh breaks the stumps. A schoolboy error from Badoni, but he goes back after a quick-fire cameo and the 49-run stand is broken.
