Daryl Mitchell offers no stroke at it without covering his off stump enough. The ball nips back in and clips the top of off. Ollie Robinson gets his 4th wicket, and New Zealand are 20 for 5, trailing by 120 runs.

Ollie Robinson to Daryl Mitchell, Mitchell survives a scare. Hard length, on the pads, Daryl Mitchell steps down the track and blocks this from the inner half of his bat towards Emilio Gay at short leg. A throw comes in from Gay towards the batting end but he misses and Daryl manages to get home. It would have been close had the throw hit.
Daryl Mitchell has asked for a new bat, and the umpires take this opportunity to take the Drinks break. Perhaps everyone could do with a breather after the chaos that has unfolded in New Zealand's innings so far. At the moment, England's 140 feels a long way away for the Kiwis. Their immediate priority will be to navigate the remainder of the day without any further damage. According to Ian Ward, play can continue until 6.30 pm GMT, which is still an hour away, provided the light holds up.

Atkinson is quick to get to the ball and fires in a throw at the batting end with Tom scrambling to get back home. There is a direct hit but Blundell has made it in by then.

Gus Atkinson to Tom Latham, OUT! LBW! Gus Atkinson gets in on the act now. New Zealand have been dealt another blow. Bowled on a length, cutting back in off the surface, attacking the front pad from around the wicket. Latham is late in bringing the bat out in front and gets struck on the knee roll on the front pad. England go up in unison and the finger is raised. Tom is quick to send it upstairs. Does he think there was some bat involved? The replay confirms there was no bat at all. It appears the bat clipping the pad may have convinced Latham that he had gotten an inside edge. It is three reds on Ball Tracking with the ball smashing into the leg stump. Latham takes a review with him. New Zealand are now 12/4, trailing by 128 runs.
