Nvidia Partners with Ineffable Intelligence for Superintelligence AI Development

Nvidia has announced a partnership with Ineffable Intelligence, a UK-based AI startup founded by former Google DeepMind lead David Silver, to develop superintelligence through reinforcement learning. Ineffable, which secured a record $1.1 billion seed round in April led by Sequoia and Lightspeed, will collaborate with Nvidia to build "AI systems that learn by trial and error." Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang emphasized the importance of "superlearners" and the partnership's potential to pioneer a new generation of intelligent systems. Unlike many AI models trained on human data, Ineffable focuses on reinforcement learning, requiring novel architectures and algorithms. The partnership will utilize Nvidia's Grace Blackwell chips and Vera Rubin platform. This move is part of a larger trend of former Big Tech researchers launching AI labs with substantial investments, including Recursive Superintelligence's $650 million raise announced the same day.
