话剧《济世》由长沙籍编剧黄维若执笔，聚焦长沙北门头卡子的“北协盛药号”，围绕掌柜张梦岐与头卡子街坊邻里展开。剧情浓缩了他们在二十天内的命运起伏——从战火阴云下的惶恐无助，到家园焚毁后的痛苦挣扎，再到绝境中的彼此扶持、向阳重生。最终，众人以“不死草”般的坚韧精神立下“好好活着”的誓言，更以仁心义行践行“济世救人”的初心。

自2026年1月建组排演以来，《济世》主创团队深耕剧本、打磨细节，历经内审评审与多轮优化。舞美设计上，剧目采用可移动式实景装置与多媒体投影结合，还原了老长沙街巷风貌；搭配沉浸式灯光与音效，营造了烽火岁月的紧张氛围。表演上，演员们刻画出不同身份、性情鲜活的市井众生，温情与悲壮交织，让观众沉浸式感受历史厚重与人性光辉。
作为深植长沙本土文化的作品，该剧还融入了长沙方言、湘剧与花鼓戏唱腔，细腻还原老长沙的市井风貌、烟火人情，将“心忧天下、敢为人先”的湖湘精神，转化为可感可触的舞台叙事。
