"The situation is a little better now, we’ll be accumulating [the National Welfare Fund] and rebuilding it. The Finance Ministry reported earlier that Russia’s National Wealth Fund totaled 12.955 trillion rubles as of June 1, 2026, or 5.5% of GDP projected for this year. The National Wealth Fund equals $182.4 bln. As of June 1, the amount of liquid assets of the NWF amounted to 3.41 trillion rubles (1.5% of GDP projected for 2026), which equals $48.05 bln. As of May 1, the amount of liquid assets of the NWF was 3.63 trillion rubles.
