中国居民肝脏健康促进项目由东南大学牵头，自启动以来已完成3.2万余例基线筛查，建成了中国规模领先的肝脏健康人群队列。东南大学附属中大医院院长助理、肝病中心主任祁小龙介绍，项目将在早期肝纤维化阶段实现干预，降低肝硬化、肝癌发病率。
教育部果蝇和线虫资源库由东南大学联合清华大学等高校、科研院所共建，预计收集、甄别、保藏果蝇品系超6万种、保存线虫品系超5万种，为生命科学研究提供战略资源支撑。国家生物技术药物产业计量测试中心器官芯片联合检测实验室的启动，将推动器官芯片技术标准化、规范化和应用转化，为新污染物健康风险评估、药物研发和疾病机制研究提供更高生理相关性的技术平台。
东南大学公共卫生学院负责人梁戈玉透露，未来东南大学公共卫生学院将紧密围绕“大医科”发展战略，充分利用学校工科、人工智能、大数据等多学科综合优势，重点发力器官芯片毒理学、食品安全与精准营养、重大传染病防控及智慧大健康等方向，推进更深层次的医工交叉体系建设。
自1976年建院以来，东南大学公共卫生学院坚定不移走医工结合与多学科交叉的发展道路。学院创办国内首个医疗保险本科专业和江苏首个流行病学硕士点，现已拥有两个一级学科博士点和公共卫生博士专业学位授予点，预防医学、劳动与社会保障跻身国家级一流本科专业，并产出中国首个器官芯片国家标准，实现了突破性发展。(完)
