今年11月底辦理國內地方大選，台南地檢署今天在南檢檢肅黑金專組主任辦公室成立「查察妨害選舉執行小組」並舉行揭牌儀式，南檢檢察長鍾和憲指出，查察妨害選舉小組雖才掛牌，但調查行動早已啟動，迄今已有32件選舉案在追查。
南檢表示，檢舉妨害選舉情資破案獎金很高，依反滲透法的境外勢力介入選舉，最高破案獎金有2000萬元；選舉賭盤破案最高獎金也有500萬元。

鍾和憲表示，過去對影響選舉的防制、查緝作為，以查察賄選與暴力為主，如今影響選舉的犯罪手法不只這些態樣，最高檢更名為「查察妨害選舉執行小組」，使得調查範疇更多元，包括假訊息、境外勢力介入選舉等都可納入，在台南檢、調、警、政風、移民署專勤隊等單位通力合作下，已有一些查察情資在進行。
鍾和憲說，南檢迄今已有1件選偵案、30件選他案與1件選察案正在偵查中，尤其過去台南曾發生影響我國民主政治重大的319槍擊案，對暴力破壞影響選舉的犯行，司法單位絕對是零容忍；同樣的，今年地方大選，台南也要加強肅清杜絕槍械、暴力行為，請相關單位確實執行，讓台南年底大選能平安順利完成。
