鐵道局指出,今日上午5點38分接獲高鐵公司通報後,即持續掌握事件處理情形,高鐵公司也立即啟動應變措施,包括運轉變更資訊即時揭露、退費賠償資訊公布、到站旅客協助與轉乘引導及跨運具疏運協調等作業。此外,交通部於第一時間協調台鐵公司啟動運具聯防機制,包括對號列車增停苗栗站及新烏日站,開放EMU3000型新自強號站票,擴大台鐵西部幹線疏運量能,以降低旅客影響。
