Thailand School Shooting: 5 Killed, Including Teachers and Pupils, by 14-Year-Old Student

Students in Thailand took cover in a classroom as a pupil opened fire at a school outside Bangkok on Friday (August 7), eyewitness footage shows. At least five people have been killed, with the victims including teachers and pupils, authorities said. The 14-year-old shooter was a student of the school and also shot and killed his own grandparents at their home on Friday morning before attacking Debsirin Nonthaburi School in the Bang Kruai district of Nonthaburi province. It is the Southeast Asian nation's worst mass killing since 2022. Police said the gun the shooter used had belonged to his grandfather.
