Chakravarthy claimed eight wickets in his last four matches and is central to Kolkata’s bowling. However, he limped during his spell against Delhi Capitals after the injury. KKR assistant coach Shane Watson said Chakravarthy is “sore and being monitored.”

Kaif believes Chakravarthy’s absence would be a “big plus” for RCB, especially given Kohli’s batting strengths. He also praised Anukul Roy’s impact in the powerplay, allowing Sunil Narine strategic use in middle overs.
