Loughnane guided the 9-2 chance to a 2.75-length win over joint favourite Gstaad, making him the youngest winner since Donnacha O'Brien in 2018. The victory also made trainer George Boughey, 34, the youngest trainer to win both the 1,000 and 2,000 Guineas in the post-war era.
