India's Ministry of Consumer Affairs is restarting subsidized Bharat Atta and Rice sales, allocating 50,000 tonnes of wheat and 300,000 tonnes of rice, to mitigate price increases (6-7% for Atta in one month) and El Nino impacts before the festival season.
