The Commission found that minors can input false birth dates during account creation with no verification controls, and that reporting tools for minors' accounts require up to seven clicks with inadequate follow-up. Meta disputes the findings. If confirmed, Meta faces a fine of up to 6% of its total worldwide annual turnover.
