Rare 2,000-Year-Old Roman 'Berlanga Cup' Discovered in Spain Documents Eastern Hadrian's Wall

Archaeologists have identified a rare 2,000-year-old Roman bronze cup in Soria, Spain, known as the 'Berlanga Cup.' This vessel is the only known example of a 'Hadrian's Wall Series' item documenting the eastern portion of Hadrian's Wall, naming four forts: Cilurnum, Onno, Vindobala, and Condercum. Researchers believe it may have been a personal gift to a soldier from the Cohors I Celtiberorum commemorating his service in Roman Britain before returning home.
