FIFA World Cup VAR Official Called for Removal Over Alleged White Supremacist Gesture
FIFA's anti-discrimination partner Fare has called for the removal of a VAR official at the World Cup after he allegedly made a gesture resembling a white supremacist symbol during Germany's match against Curaçao. The Australian official, Shaun Evans, appeared to make an 'OK' sign, which the Anti-Defamation League classifies as a hate symbol.
