Apple Announces Leadership Shuffle: John Ternus to Become CEO, Johny Srouji Promoted to Chief Hardware Officer

Apple announced John Ternus as its new CEO replacing Tim Cook from September 1, alongside promoting Johny Srouji to chief hardware officer. Srouji, who previously led Hardware Technologies and developed Apple's first A4 chip in 2008, will now oversee both Hardware Engineering and hardware technologies organizations. Tom Marieb will lead hardware engineering and report to Srouji.
