Wounded Lebanese Journalist Describes Deadly Israeli Strike That Killed Colleague
Israeli strike killed Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil and wounded colleague Zeinab Faraj in southern Lebanon village of al-Tiri despite ceasefire. Both journalists wore clearly marked press gear. Faraj recounted from her hospital bed how Khalil was burned while shielding her before a second missile struck. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun accused Israel of deliberate targeting of journalists to conceal aggressive acts, while PM Nawaf Salam called it a war crime.
