Virginia Governor Signs Ban on Certain Semi-Automatic Firearms, Sparking Lawsuits

Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger signed legislation banning the sale and manufacture of certain semi-automatic firearms, defining them as "assault firearms." The law, which takes effect July 1, makes it a misdemeanor to buy, sell, or import these weapons.
