
Ballet dancer Akane Takada withdraws from Japan tour due to injury
Ballet dancer Akane Takada, a principal dancer with the Royal Ballet, has withdrawn from the company's upcoming Japan tour in July due to a leg injury. The Japan Performing Arts Foundation (NBS), which is organizing the tour, announced the decision on the 13th. Takada was scheduled to perform the lead roles in "The Marriage of Lise" and "Giselle."
