Taiwan Aims to Reform Cancer Insurance Policies for Home-Based Chemotherapy

Taiwan's Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) plans to discuss with the Financial Supervisory Commission and insurers to adjust cancer insurance policies. The goal is to enable coverage for home-based chemotherapy and other new care models, as current policies often require hospitalization, leading to unnecessary bed occupancy.
