A new study by University College London (UCL) researchers found that persistent financial problems, tracked over decades in thousands of Britons, are linked to accelerated age-related cognitive decline and physical brain shrinkage by age 70. Men and individuals with the APOE-ε4 genetic variant appeared more vulnerable.
