Texas police have charged a former Chick-fil-A employee with defrauding the fast food company of $80,000 (£58,800) by allegedly ringing up 800 catering-sized trays of mac-and-cheese and then refunding the cost to his personal credit cards. Keyshun Jones, 23, was arrested on April 17, 2026 after multiple attempted arrests. He faces charges of property theft, money laundering and evading arrest. Police allege Jones was fired a month earlier but returned to a Grapevine branch, accessed the register behind the counter, and processed the fraudulent refunds.
