Hong Kong Poised to Host Second Tier of New-Look FIFA ASEAN Cup

Hong Kong is set to host the second tier of a restructured FIFA ASEAN Cup following an agreement reached ahead of FIFA's annual congress in Vancouver. Division 1 will be staged in Indonesia featuring Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Indonesia. Division 2 in Hong Kong would likely include Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, the winners of a Brunei vs Timor Leste play-off, and Hong Kong as invited hosts. The competition is targeted for the FIFA window from September 21 to October 6.
