Domestic Help Arrested for Murder of IRS Officer's Daughter in Delhi

A 22-year-old woman, daughter of a senior IRS officer and UPSC aspirant, was murdered at her Kailash Hills residence in southeast Delhi. The accused, Rahul, a former domestic help at the residence, allegedly attacked her with a heavy object, raped her, strangled her, and used her fingers for biometric locker to steal cash. He was arrested from a hotel in Dwarka with over Rs 1 lakh cash and stolen jewellery. Police have linked him to a rape case from Rajasthan's Alwar. Investigations reveal Rahul had psychopathic tendencies, was addicted to online betting losing over Rs 7 lakh, and had a history of violent conduct.
