Hong Kong police have arrested a 44-year-old man, surnamed Chan, for allegedly trafficking more than HK$800,000 (US$102,110) of suspected heroin. Officers from the Tuen Mun district anti-triad unit discovered around 300g of heroin in a reusable bag and an additional kilogram inside a flat on Yan Po Road, with a total seizure value of approximately HK$805,000. The man has been arrested on suspicion of trafficking in dangerous drugs, an offence punishable by up to life imprisonment and a HK$5 million fine.
