28 Cuneiform Tablets from Kültepe Exhibited at Kayseri Archaeology Museum

Kültepe, Turkey, is showcasing 28 cuneiform tablets unearthed since 1948. A recent project by CNRS and Hamburg University used advanced imaging to read a clay tablet sealed in an envelope, revealing a trade agreement concerning wheat and barley between Şawidaşu and Enişar. Over 23,500 tablets have been found, with many archived globally.
