A woman in Kanpur, India, allegedly stabbed her husband to death after an argument about her relationship with another man. The husband died 11 days later in hospital. The wife has been arrested.
A 21-year-old woman from Uttar Pradesh, Kashish Meena, died at Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital on Friday after being set on fire by her lover Ashish Meena's family on April 25. The victim had 90% burn injuries and battled for life for a week. The incident occurred after Ashish informed Kashish of his decision to get engaged elsewhere, leading to a heated argument during which his family allegedly poured petrol on her. Ashish has been arrested, and police have suspended four officers for failing to act promptly.
