Deutsche Telekom Explores Full T-Mobile US Merger in Landmark $400bn Deal
Deutsche Telekom is exploring a complete merger with T-Mobile US that could create a $400bn transatlantic telecom giant, potentially becoming the largest public M&A deal in history. The German company already owns 53% of its US arm and the deal would involve a new holding company making an all-share bid for both firms. The merger faces significant regulatory hurdles including German government approval, as Berlin's stake would be diluted to 17-18%.
