Tênis de mesa: Brasil bate Inglaterra e avança às quartas do Mundial

A seleção brasileira masculina de tênis de mesa terá a França pela frente nesta sexta-feira (8) pelas quartas de final do Mundial por Equipes, em Londres (Inglaterra). O time Amarelinho formado por Hugo Calderano (5º no ranking), Guilherme Teodoro (144º) e Leonardo Izuka (125º) enfrentará os irmãos Felix e Alexis Lebrun (4º e 12º, respectivamente) e Flavien Coton (23º). O duelo por vaga nas semifinais terá início às 15h30 (horário de Brasília), com transmissão ao vivo online na conta da Federação Internacional (World Table Tennis) no YouTube. Para assegurar presença nas quartas de final a seleção derrotou a a Inglaterra, dona da casa, por 3 jogos a 2, na última quarta (6).
