Three men travelling in a BMW and Toyota Fortuner allegedly assaulted and briefly abducted toll plaza employees at Kadathanamale gate near Rajanukunte in north Bengaluru after refusing to pay the toll fee. The accused, who claimed to be associates of a local MLA, punched 18-year-old toll collector Druva in the face and kicked him. When his colleague Deekshith tried to help, the gang forcibly bundled him into the BMW, assaulted him and pushed him out of the moving vehicle. Police have registered an FIR under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and are searching for the accused.
