Aging nuns in Uganda lack basic support, prompting a new palliative care initiative
Aging nuns in Uganda, particularly at the Little Sisters of St. Francis convent in Nkokonjeru, face neglect and lack basic necessities like adult diapers and wheelchairs. A new pilot program, spearheaded by Sister Jane Frances Nakafeero and Jean Callahan, aims to provide palliative care and support to these nuns.
