South Korea to Apply Zero Tariffs on LNG, LPG Within Quotas to Curb Inflation
South Korea plans to implement zero tariff rates on liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) within quotas in the second half of 2026 to combat inflation. The measure aims to stabilize consumer prices by reducing utility and transportation costs, following a 3.1% rise in consumer prices in May.
