Bangladesh vs Pakistan: Session Summary and Key Moments

Lots of starts, no big knocks - Such has been the story for Bangladesh that 4 of their top 5 batters got into the 20s, but failed to make the most of a start. Having lost 3 wickets in the first session, Najmul Hossain Shanto and Mushfiqur Rahim, two experienced statesmen, looked to build a stand, but they were a bit too sluggish at the start of the second session and that allowed Pakistan to take advantage. They went from 106/3 to 116/6 in a matter of a few overs, but then Litton Das came in and launched a smart counter-attack, managing to hog the strike for most of the deliveries and Taijul Islam seemed decently assured with the bat to take the hosts from 116/6 to 168/6 by the end of the session.

The batter takes a single and the fielder in the region has a shy at the bowler's end, but misses the direct hit. It rolls further toward the right of the mid off region and the batter gets the window to take another run. Two runs taken.

Sajid Khan to Litton Das, DROPPED! But you need some heart to even attempt it. Fuller, on off and middle. Litton Das comes down the track and drills hard, uppishly toward the bowler. Sajid Khan attempts to take the catch but the ball bursts out of his hands, before it deflects to long off.
