NSW Crown Prosecutors Back Director of Public Prosecutions Amid Leak Allegations

Over 120 NSW crown prosecutors have jointly defended their Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Sally Dowling SC, after a parliamentary inquiry report alleged she leaked information to the media and gave false evidence. The inquiry focused on a leak to 2GB regarding a judge's decision to allow an Acknowledgement of Country before sentencing. Ms. Dowling maintains she did not authorize the leak, and the Attorney-General supports her testimony.
