B군은 의식과 호흡이 있는 상태로 119구급대에 의해 병원으로 옮겨져 치료받고 있으며, 생명에는 크게 지장이 없는 것으로 알려졌다.
범행 직후 버스에서 내려 달아났던 A군은 경찰에 전화로 "동생을 괴롭힌 사람을 흉기로 찔렀다"고 자수 의사를 밝힌 것으로 전해졌다.
출동한 경찰은 송강동 인근에서 A군을 현행범 체포했다.
