전북 정읍시는 초기 소득 불안정을 겪는 청년 농업인의 안정적인 영농 정착을 위해 '청년창업형 후계농업경영인 영농정착지원사업' 2차 대상자를 모집한다고 2일 밝혔다.

신청 대상은 18∼39세 청년으로, 영농 경력이 없거나 2023년 이후 농업경영정보를 경영주로 처음 등록한 경우에만 지원할 수 있다.

선발되면 영농 경력에 따라 3년간 월 90만∼110만원의 정착지원금이 지급된다.

영농 기반 확대를 위한 최대 5억원의 정책자금(연 1.5%·5년 거치 10년 원금 균등 분할 상환)도 지원된다.

신청은 다음 달 10일까지 통합 플랫폼 농업e지(nongupez.go.kr)을 통해서 하면 된다.

시는 서류 평가와 면접을 거쳐 오는 8월 10일 대상자를 확정할 계획이다.

시 농업기술센터 관계자는 "이번 2차 모집은 지침 변경 사항이 많으니 자격 요건을 꼼꼼히 확인해 달라"며 "청년 농업인들이 정읍 농업의 미래로 성장하도록 지원을 아끼지 않겠다"고 말했다.
