MOSCOW, August 10. /TASS/. More than 130 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crews were trained at the Moscow Military District training grounds over the course of a month, the district’s press service reported.
"Instructors trained more than 130 crews for unmanned systems units at the Moscow Military District’s training grounds in July 2026. The training was conducted for crews operating attack unmanned aerial vehicles, both copter and fixed-wing drones, ground-based robotic systems, and the Supercam reconnaissance UAVs," according to the statement.
It noted that during the training, the soldiers honed their skills in flying drones over obstacles on a special FPV training course equipped with structures simulating urban terrain. In addition, special attention was paid to developing skills in in-flight recording control, simulated target tracking and destruction.
The Moscow Military District’s press service specified that after successfully passing their exams, service members from the Moscow Military District’s unmanned systems units will continue to carry out combat missions in the special military operation zone.
