The Tigers have suffered another player blow with lock Alex Twal ruled out with a knee injury on Friday.

Api Koroisau is still suspended so Latu Fainu shifts to hooker.

Terrell May also returns after the birth of his child as he looks to make a last-minute pitch for a State of Origin spot with NSW.

Blues coach Laurie Daley will name his side after Magic Round, and with barnstorming prop Payne Haas (knee) set to miss the May 27 opener, it has opened the door for May's inclusion after producing several big performances for the Tigers this campaign.

"Nothing surprises me anymore. I thought he [May] should have made it last year," Wests coach Benji Marshall said.

"But again the footy does the talking, so he's got a good opportunity to go and put his case forward again. But I think he's been great for us."

Here's how we line up for our first match of the day.

Tigers

Benji Marshall has made a few changes from the team that lost last weekend.

Terrell May starts at prop after a late withdrawal last weekend due to the birth of his child.

Latu Fainu will start start at hooker, while Tristan Hope shifts to the bench.

Sione Fainu moves to lock and Alex Seyfarth joins the starting side in two the back row.

Sea Eagles

Late changes for Kieran Foran, who brings Zach Dockar-Clay into the starting side, with Jake Simpkin going to the bench.

The big inclusion for the Sea Eagles is Jamal Fogarty, who makes his return after two weeks on the bench, his able replacement Joey Walsh dropping to be bench and no doubt chomping at the bit to get back into NRL action.

Clayton Faulalo starts at fullback, Tolu Koula moves to the centres, while Kobe Hetherington has been named on the interchange as he returns from a concussion.

Grant Atkins is our referee.

Good afternoon Magic fans and welcome to day two of the NRL's festival of fun in Brisbane.

My name is Simon Smale and I am with you here at Lang Park all afternoon, into the evening and through the night as we enjoy three games of footy in the Sunshine State.

We'll start with Wests Tigers vs Manly Warringah at 3:00pm, a game rich in potential given how the Sea Eagles are playing at the moment, especially if the Tigers can rediscover their bite.

After that, from 5:30pm, we'll get straight into the Roosters against the Cowboys, which could be the game of the day truth be told.

Then, to wrap things up, we'll have the Eels and the Storm from 7:45pm going at it in a clash between 14th and 15th on the ladder - hands up if you had that pop up in your crystal ball at the start of the year.

As I write this it is currently sunny, but I have no doubt that will change given the ominous look of the clouds around the place as I came in on the bus - but even a dubious forecast can't dampen the enthusiasm for another full slate of rugby league for your Saturday afternoon, so welcome.
