세종시가 개발한 시스템은 민원인이 경관심의·협의·자문 등 심의 유형을 선택하면 해당 유형에 맞는 작성 항목을 단계별로 제공하고 제출할 서류에 문제가 없는지 미리 점검할 수 있는 기능을 갖췄다.
AI 시스템을 활용하면 서류 보완 요청률이 70%에서 30% 수준으로 낮아지고, 기존에 30일 소요되던 전체 심의 처리 기간도 5일가량 단축될 것으로 세종시는 전망했다.
양문수 경관관리팀장은 "외부 예산 지원 없이 수십 번의 시행착오를 거쳐 직접 개발한 결과물"이라며 "현장 의견을 지속 반영해 시스템을 단계적으로 고도화하겠다"고 말했다.
