曾在經典劇《出路》為角色直接剃光頭的新加坡資深女星許美珍，最近受訪時坦言，自己並非完全反對AI，但「情感」這件事，機器永遠無法真正取代真人。

她表示，如果只是臨時補拍、演員突然生病、失聲，或某些技術性畫面需要修補，可以接受AI協助，但真正進入角色情緒爆發的戲分，還是必須由真人完成，「剃頭之後的戲，那種情緒轉折、角色崩潰感，AI演不出來。」
比起被取代，許美珍直言，現在最可怕的是AI可能被拿去製作色情影片或假戲劇內容，「你根本分不出真假，但名聲卻可能直接被毀掉。」尤其對女星來說，最害怕的是「長得很像你、但又不是你」的AI角色，最後觀眾卻全部當真。
她也語重心長表示，希望娛樂圈不要過度依賴AI，「如果什麼都讓AI做，最後大量人失業，人類還有存在必要嗎？」她甚至表示支持好萊塢部分創作者反對AI全面入侵影視產業，認為科技應該是「輔助工具」，而不是取代創作者本身。
