台北捷運公司10日表示，捷運板南線國父紀念館站鄰近5號出口的2座閘門移除現有紅色門檔，試辦「閘門LED通行識別指示燈」，但保留閘門螢幕顯示功能及提示音，亮起綠色燈光即可通行、亮起紅色燈光表示票卡感應有問題，需請站務人員協助；持續觀察試辦情形及蒐集意見作為精進參考。
北捷說明，自行研發的「閘門LED通行識別指示燈」保留閘門既有螢幕顯示功能及提示音，再增視覺化紅、綠燈號設計，無須查看閘門螢幕或聆聽聲音，即可快速掌握票卡感應結果。若成功，閘門側邊即顯示「綠色燈光」可通行；若感應有問題，則會亮起「紅色燈光」，請至詢問處洽站務人員協助。
北捷解釋，研發團隊以「不影響既有閘門功能」為前提，進行光條控制板件開發，在不干擾原有電路及新增光條的電氣情況下，抓取票卡感應成功與失敗訊號，再精確控制光條顯示狀態，增添直覺的燈光識別功能。「閘門LED通行識別指示燈」即起可於國父紀念館站鄰近5號出口的2座閘門試辦，協助快速過閘，舉辦大型活動時，加速進出站。
