A training aircraft crashed near Baramati airport in Pune district on Wednesday morning after developing a technical snag mid-flight, police said. The aircraft, belonging to Red Bird Aviation, made a crash landing near Gojubavi village adjacent to the airport at around 8:50 am. According to Pune Rural SP Sandeep Singh Gill, the aircraft developed a technical issue while flying at low altitude. Only one trainee pilot was on board and did not suffer serious injuries. Police immediately responded and an inquiry is underway.
